My name is Carlie – a TheDream.US Scholar and current Career Connections Intern! I know firsthand that navigating your career journey as an undocumented student can feel overwhelming — I’ve been there. I also know that forming connections with undocumented entrepreneurs and professionals is crucial for finding inspiration, gaining valuable career advice, and seeing firsthand real-life examples of what’s possible. That’s why I’m excited to invite you to our upcoming event, “Meet & Mingle: Ask the Entrepreneurs,” happening Thursday, November 13 from 6–7:30pm ET (adjust to your time zone)
During this Meet and Mingle event, you’ll:
✅ Hear from immigrant entrepreneurs who built their own paths — from tech and education to food, finance, and consulting.
✅ Connect directly with them in small breakout rooms to ask your questions, get advice, and network.
✅ Learn how they turned challenges into opportunities and created success on their own terms through entrepreneurship, freelancing, and independent contracting.
