Dear Scholars at Florida State Colleges,
As a new semester begins, we want you to know first and foremost: we are with you.
We know there are questions and concerns about the recent rule affecting Florida’s state colleges. We are closely monitoring what happens next and will continue to share information as we learn more. For now, your Fall 2026 semester is secure. The new rule will not be implemented for the Fall term, and there is no impact on your current enrollment or Fall scholarship. While we do not yet know when the rule will take effect or what it may mean for next semester, we want to help you make as much progress toward your degree as possible this Fall.
How TheDream.US will support you
This Fall, every Scholar will receive and up to:
- $4,125 for tuition and fees
- $750 stipend
- $500 one-time grant for Scholars enrolled this Fall
Because of the uncertainty around next semester, we will also provide an additional award of up to $4,125 to cover tuition and mandatory fees if you enroll in an eligible mini-term or short-term course beginning in October.
This is an opportunity to make additional progress toward your degree now—especially if you are a senior or close to graduating.
You do not need to take an additional course if it would be too much. Before enrolling, please talk with your academic advisor to make sure the course fits your academic plan, schedule, and workload.
We don’t know exactly what the coming months will bring, but we do know this: you are not facing this uncertainty alone. We will continue to stand with you, advocate for you, and do everything we can to help you stay on your path to a college degree.
One step at a time. One semester at a time. Together, we will keep moving forward.
If you have any issues with your scholarship, admissions, or payments, please contact your designated college advisor:

Warmly,
TheDream.US Team
