Exciting News: New Leadership for TheDream.US

Dear Scholars and Alumni,

As you may have already heard, TheDream.US President, Candy Marshall, is embarking on a new chapter in her life, stepping down to spend more quality time with her family. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude and admiration for Candy’s exceptional leadership over the past decade.

After a nationwide search for highly qualified candidates to lead TheDream.US into its next decade, we are delighted to announce that the new President and CEO of TheDream.US is Gaby Pacheco.

Gaby’s dedication to you all and our mission, coupled with her firsthand experience as a Dreamer in Florida and a national immigrant rights advocate, has uniquely prepared her to take the reins and lead TheDream.US to even greater heights. Her unwavering commitment and tireless efforts have already had a profound impact on our organization, shaping it into the vibrant community it is today.

As one of the first individuals to receive TheDream.US scholarship in 2014, at the age of 28, my life has been made exponentially better by being part of this family as a Scholar, graduate, and then as part of this dedicated, hardworking team. Working alongside Gaby Pacheco over the last few years has been an invaluable and enriching professional experience for me. I have no doubt that she will continue to illuminate the path toward a brighter future for all undocumented immigrants.

As TheDream.US Scholars and Alumni, you are an integral part of our family, and we have no doubt that under Gaby’s leadership, our organization will continue to be a source of support and empowerment for each of you. We encourage you to welcome Gaby into her new role and to embrace the exciting changes and opportunities that her leadership will bring.

Best,

Sadhana, Elena, Chris, and all of us at TheDream.US
