Sadly, as some of you may have heard on the news, there are efforts underway to attempt to repeal in-state tuition benefits for Dreamers in Florida. A special session could begin as early as January 27th. Just as we stood united in 2023—alongside many of you—we are committed to fighting again this year to ensure Dreamers like you continue to have access to the opportunities you deserve.
This attempt to block Dreamers from in-state tuition is not only harmful but also shortsighted, as it undermines Florida’s future by discouraging talented individuals from contributing to our communities and economy. We cannot let this happen without a fight, and we cannot fight this alone.
