On Wednesday I hosted a Virtual Town Hall to discuss the dangerous immigration bill fast-tracked and passed by the Florida legislature this week.
Governor Desantis says he plans to veto the “Tackling and Reforming Unlawful Migration Policy” (TRUMP Act), which includes the repeal of the in-state tuition waiver. However, the future of the bill remains uncertain.
While we actively monitor the situation and plan for any possible outcomes we need you to do the following:
- Take 1 minute to answer these 3 questions by next Friday 2/7, on how we can best support you
- Maximize the number of classes you take now and in the Summer
- Take Action – call your state rep and senator
We know this is a challenging time, but please remember you are not alone. We are committed to finding solutions and keeping you informed along the way.
