Outlined in a July 28th memo, the Department of Homeland Security will now enforce the following changes to DACA:
- Reject all initial application requests for DACA,
- Reject new and pending requests for advanced parole, and
- Limit the period of renewal to one year.
The Administration’s above response to the Supreme Court’s June decision has been discouraging to many of us. But we want you to know that if you currently have DACA, you can still renew it and continue to work and study as you did before.
