Los otros dreamers: los jóvenes que se quedaron sin DACA

Las nuevas medidas de la administración del presidente Donald Trump de reducir el periodo de protección de la Acción Diferida para los Llegados en la Infancia (DACA) afectan no solo a los jóvenes dreamers, sino a aquellos que no alcanzaron a registrarse en el programa.

De acuerdo con datos de la organización proinmigrante America’s Voice, alrededor de 300,000 jóvenes elegibles se han quedado sin la protección de DACA desde que el presidente Trump decidió cancelar el programa y no tomar nuevas solicitudes, en septiembre del 2017.
