Inaugural Application Round Concluded for TheDream.US Scholarship Program

WASHINGTON—April 2, 2014—TheDream.US spring 2014 national scholarship application round has ended. Close to 1,000 students submitted applications. This year we expect to provide funds for tuition, fees and books to approximately 400 students, up to $12,500 for an associate’s degree and up to $25,000 for a bachelor’s degree.
Scholarship award recipients will be selected based on demonstrated academic achievement, motivation to succeed and financial need. Selection of recipients will be made by Scholarship Management Services and an independent selection committee. The names of the scholarship recipients will be announced on May 15, 2014.
TheDream.US is a new multimillion-dollar national scholarship fund for DREAMers with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
