Washington, DC – TheDream.US, the nation’s largest college access and success program for immigrant youth, today offered a reminder that the deadline for applications for scholarships for the 2021-2022 academic year closes on February 25, 2021. The organization’s expanded eligibility criteria opens applications to DREAMers who have DACA, TPS or who came to the country before November 1, 2015 and otherwise meet the DACA eligibility criteria. The new scholarship round includes a focus on New Jersey immigrant youth in their pursuit of a college education.
In New Jersey, TheDream.US partners with Rutgers University-Newark and Rutgers University-New Brunswick, which are dedicated to supporting the higher education needs of DREAMers. TheDream.US has awarded over 100 scholarships and paid $1.8M in awards to New Jersey DREAMers. Learn more about the National Scholarship and how to apply before the February 25, 2021 deadline here.
