We are back with our last email (3 of 3) in our Back-to-School series! Today, we alert you to the 2025 – 2026 Opportunity Scholarship Program Guide and funding.
- 2025 – 2026 Opportunity Scholarship Program Guide: You should review your Program Guide every year, to remind yourself of your Scholar commitments, program requirements, and the resources available to you throughout your college journey. We’ve refreshed the guides this year with a new look and streamlined access to information. Pro tip: Bookmark your Program Guide in your favorites for future reference!
- Your Award and Fall Payment: This year, you will notice that your total award amount has increased from $80,000 to $100,000 because of a tuition increase adjustment to our program. Your new award amount will be $12,500 per semester for tuition, fees, and room and board. As a reminder, your fall tuition payment will be sent directly to your Partner College toward the middle of the semester and be posted to your account by your college. Contact your Scholar Advisor toward the second half of the semester for updates.
- Service Hold Preventing Course Drops: Partner Colleges have been requested to place a service indicator on your account preventing your courses from beign dropped due to a late payment. Make sure you are connected with your Scholar Advisor so they can place the hold.
