Washington, D.C. – TheDream.US, the nation’s largest college and career success program for “Dreamer” immigrant youth, offered a reminder that its National Scholarship application round will close on February 29, 2024 (details here). This year’s application round comes as TheDream.US celebrates its first decade of empowering Dreamers’ success, including the recent tenth anniversary event held at the National Museum of American History that featured some of the more than 10,000 Scholars and alumni who were awarded scholarships over the past decade.

Massachusetts applicants are eligible for TheDream.US National Scholarship, for high school graduates or those currently/previously enrolled in college to attend one of 2 Partner Colleges in Massachusetts (see list of TheDream.US Partner Colleges HERE). Applications are open to undocumented immigrant students with or without DACA or TPS who came to the U.S. before the age of 16 and before November 1, 2018. The National Scholarship provides tuition and fees up to $19,500 for an associate’s degree and up to $39,000 for a bachelor’s degree. Deadline for applications is February 29, 2024. Gaby Pacheco, president and CEO of TheDream.US, said: “As we celebrate our first decade of success, the building block of our work remains ensuring that driven and eligible Dreamers with and without DACA know that TheDream.US scholarships are available to help them pursue their higher education and career dreams. As I was proud to recently state at our 10-year anniversary celebration, our Scholars have a lot to offer if given the opportunity to help our nation grow and thrive. We thank our Massachusetts Partner Colleges for helping empower Dreamers’ college and career success and we encourage eligible Massachusetts students to apply before the February 29 deadline.”
