Dear Scholar Advisors,
This email went to our Scholars this morning letting them know of an opportunity to gain college credit for free! We have partnered with Modern States, to offer this information webinar for our currently enrolled Scholars. In May we will be offering a similar webinar to the current round scholarship applicants.
Feel free to encourage Scholars to attend this webinar and/or to check out Modern States. Thank you!
Dear TheDream.US Scholars,
We have found a great way for you to earn college credits for free! This opportunity can allow you to complete your degree earlier, save money, and/or take that one or two classes you still need to complete to graduate.
We are partnering with Modern States, a philanthropy dedicated to making a college degree more accessible and affordable for everyone. It offers a catalog of tuition-free online courses for 40+ core subjects, which enable learners to earn traditional academic credits at your college. Taught by professors from leading universities, Modern States courses prepare students for the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams from the College Board. Modern States also pays for the cost of the CLEP exams, so it is completely free to you.
We believe taking these classes and the CLEP exams can be a smart way for you to save money, graduate faster and make your Scholarship award last for a longer period of time. You can take advantage of these free classes no matter what year in college you are.
We will be hosting a webinar to tell you more about Modern States and how you can sign up for their classes.
