Washington, DC – TheDream.US, the nation’s largest college access and success program for immigrant youth, today announced strong interest in the organization’s recently concluded scholarship application round. Together with the detailed findings in the organization’s new landmark 10-year impact report, the application round emphasizes the importance of maintaining and strengthening higher education and career opportunities for Dreamers.
- TheDream.US application round concludes, demonstrating Dreamers’ steadfast commitment to their education and futures: Despite a national climate of rising uncertainty around ongoing legal protections and opportunities for Dreamers, the volume of applications for the TheDream.US scholarship remained strong for the recently concluded annual application round. TheDream.US will announce scholarship awards later in the Spring.
- TheDream.US 10-year impact report offers large-scale case study on benefits of expanding Dreamers’ opportunities on families, workplaces, and broader communities: The landmark report,“From Dreams to Destinations: A Decade of Immigrant Achievements and the Future Ahead,” is filled with never-released data and statistics about the 11,000 TheDream.US Scholarship recipients over the past decade, as well as profiles some of the organization’s 4,000-plus Alumni. The report documents how increased access to higher education and career opportunities catalyze social mobility and positive outcomes for individual Dreamers, as well as their families, workplaces, and broader communities.
