TheDream.US at the White House: Your Voice Fuels Change

All Alumni:

On Saturday, we asked you to join us in building a movement to urgently ask for bi-partisan legislation providing permanent protections for those with and without DACA or TPS.

We cannot emphasize enough that your voice fuels our advocacy.

Here’s how.

First – We just released the 2024 Alumni Survey Report in partnership with Golden Door Scholars. This report demonstrates the significance of a college degree and work authorization for more than 2,000 of our Alumni who completed this year’s Alumni Survey.

When we band together, people pay attention. The report is filled with both Alumni stories and detailed data, on why policies such as DACA, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and other opportunities for Dreamers empower our communities and this country.

Second –  This afternoon, some of our Scholars, alongside TheDream.US co-founders, President & CEO Gaby Pacheco, and COO Dr. Hyein Lee, will attend an event at the White House to mark the 12th Anniversary of DACA.

This event will not only celebrate the incredible achievements of many of you and the impact of one of the most successful immigration policies in U.S. history, but we will also hear announcements on administrative relief policies that will benefit some Dreamers with and without DACA or TPS.

On Thursday, June 20, we will have an online session with experts to break down how this announcement will benefit some of you and your families. Stay tuned for more.

Both of these events are thanks to you – our thousands of Scholars and Alumni using your voices on our Annual Surveys, answering our call to sign letters, and sharing your stories on the Hill with bipartisan Members of Congress.

Make sure you are reading your emails and updating your ISTS Scholar Portal with new contact information to stay updated with crucial events and information.

We are in this together,

Hyein, Gaby, and all of us at TheDream.US
