This has been a difficult year for our community, but we stand united in the dreams and aspirations of our Scholars and Alumni from across the country. On Thursday, August 7th, 2pm ET, we are hosting our virtual New Scholar Welcome. Do you remember your New Scholar Welcome? This year, we invite you, our current Scholars and Alumni, to join us in celebrating our New Scholars and welcoming them to our 12,000+ strong community!
The theme of this year’s event is “Shredding the Paper Ceiling”, expressing the fact that you are more than your status and despite it, you are welcomed, valued and successful! Our Scholars and Alumni are already breaking barriers by enrolling in college, getting their degrees and starting great careers. You continue to be the personification of shredding the paper ceiling!
