Looking to help others and a meaningful experience to put on your resume?
Volunteer as a counselor for Crisis Text line! They will train you to have the necessary expertise to support people in a crisis via text messaging.
You will help others and learn skills that are transferable to many situations – some that you can list on your resume are: active and reflective listening, collaborative problem-solving, and crisis management. These are skills all employers value.
