TheDream.US Statement: “We Must Build a World that is Just and Equitable for All”
Washington, DC – The following is a statement from Candy Marshall, President of TheDream.US:
“TheDream.US is deeply saddened by the recent events in our country. The senseless deaths of George Floyd and too many others of color reflect the deeply ingrained systemic and institutionalized racism and injustice that exist in our communities.
We cannot look away. We must come together to listen to each other and build a world that is just and equitable for all – with no regard to the color of a person’s skin or where they were born.”
