TheDream.US – If you want to renew your DACA – you must do so immediately.

** This email was sent to all Scholars whose DACA expiration deadline falls before or on March 5th, 2018.

Dear Scholars,

Per our records, your DACA expires on or before March 5th, 2018.

If we have your expiration date wrong and it falls after March 5th or if you have already filed a DACA renewal application, please make sure you provide ISTS with your updated documentation and new expiration date once you receive it.

If this is correct and you have not yet filed a renewal application – please pay attention! Your renewal application needs to be received and accepted by October 5, 2017 – 20 days away! If you do not submit before this date, you will not be able to renew your DACA status going forward. From NILC (National Immigration Law Center) – “Generally, if you want to apply to renew your DACA by Oct. 5, we encourage you to speak first with an immigration attorney or a Board of Immigration Appeals–accredited representative. If you decide to proceed with an application, we urge that you be represented by an attorney or accredited representative (a Form G-28 should be filed with your application).”

Please click here to see a list of organizations that are providing scholarships for renewal fees.

Remember, we are united in this fight. You are not alone. Many organizations and supporters mobilized, organized, and marched five years ago for DACA, and we will continue to do everything in our power to protect you, our Scholars. Visit www.weareheretostay.org for resources to help you and your loved ones take care of yourselves in this difficult time, as well as information on what you can do to take action now.

In solidarity,
