College Success Resources
Seek Funding for College
Apply for State Aid and Other Scholarships: You are required to apply for state aid, if eligible. Also seek other financial aid to pay for college. Questions? Reach out to your Financial Aid Advisor found in the Partner College Directory (pw: collegedream).
Earn Free College Credits with Modern States
Modern States: provides course prep for a variety of CLEP exams for which you can earn free college credits this winter and throughout the year, without stepping into a classroom! See which courses your Partner College will accept CLEP Exams credits. Please note, you must confirm acceptance of CLEP credits with your Scholar Advisor before signing up for any exams.
Prepare for Grad School
Grad School: We offer FREE Kaplan Test Prep materials for exams (i.e. LSAT, GRE, MCAT, and many more) and 50% Discount Vouchers for the GRE exam.
Apply for an Internship
Parker Dewey Micro-Internships: Log into Parker Dewey to view and apply to paid opportunities. On your Dashboard, scroll to “All Open Micro-Internships” to view even more opportunities available to you. For quick tips on securing a Micro-Internship, watch this 3-minute video.
Scholarship Reminders
- Track Your Award in Your ISTS Scholar Portal: Check your scholarship eligibility, how much Scholarship funding you have left, and plan ahead.
- Don’t Risk Losing Your Award: If you are transferring Partner Colleges in the Spring or need to take next semester off, you MUST fill out a Request Form via your ISTS Scholar Portal starting Jan 5.
Office Closure
Office Closure: TheDream.US “office” is closed from December 22, 2025 – January 4, 2026. If you have questions about your Scholarship, please check your Program Guide. We will be back with you as soon as possible in the new year.
