IMPORTANT: Compensation from the opportunities listed below is considered taxable income and should be reported as income on a tax return. Spring 2025 – Open Applications
- Beyond Rising Internship @ Oyate Group (In-Person in NYC) – Deadline to Apply: Saturday, April 5 | Program Runs: July 8 – August 9 | Stipend: $500 per month. Must be an undocumented youth aged 16-20 living in NYC. All majors welcome. Interns are connected to local colleges, businesses, and nonprofits. Apply Here.
- CTD Learns Courses @ Code the Dream (Virtual) – Deadline to Apply: Sunday, April 13 | Program Runs: July 9 – October 24 | Stipend: $0. Founded by a former undocumented professional, Code the Dream provides free coding and software development courses. These courses are offered 3 times a year during Spring, Summer, and Fall Trimesters. Must be 18+ years old, from a diverse background, and has time/motivation to excel. Participants do not receive a monetary stipend for taking the courses, but individuals who successfully pass CTD Learns are eligible to apply for their paid, inclusive apprenticeships (apprenticeships are competitive and full-time for roughly 10 months; pays $30,000-$35,000). - Ignite Fellowship @ Teach for America (Virtual) – Deadline to Apply: Wednesday, April 30 | Program Runs: September – December 2025 | Stipend: $1,200. A virtual tutoring fellowship during fall 2025 semester. All majors welcome. Apply Here. IMPORTANT: Disregard their work authorization eligibility criteria mentioned on their website and application. TheDream.US has a special partnership with TFA’s Ignite Fellowship in which work authorization is not required for Scholars so long as they have a SSN or ITIN. Over 100+ Scholars have become Ignite Fellows!
- Summer Fellowship @ Major League Hacking (Virtual) – Applications Open: 1st week of February | Deadline to Apply: TBD | Program Runs: late May – August | Stipend: $5,000. A 12-week remote tech program for software development, open-source contribution, and professional mentorship. Must have participated in at least one MLH Hackathon or Global Hack Week event, and know how to code in at least one language Learn more here (this website should be updated with program information later this spring).
- Summer Internships @ Active Minds (Virtual) – Applications Open: TBD – sometime in Spring | Deadline to Apply: TBD | Program Runs: Summer 2025 | Stipend: $3,750. A 3-month, virtual hands-on internship in non-profit and mental health support initiatives. Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student or recent college graduate, and be interested in mental health and uplifting young adult voices. - Poderosa Fellowship @ Poder Latinx (Virtual) – Applications Open: TBD – usually late spring or early summer | Deadline to Apply: TBD – usually by end of June | Program Runs: July 2025 – April 2026 | Stipend: $5,000. A 10-month civic and social justice leadership development program for Latinas aged 18-35 years old. Must live in one of the following states: AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, MN, NV, NC, PA, TX, VA, WA, WI, and Washington DC. - LaunchPad @ Pre-Health Dreamers (Virtual) – Applications Open: TBD | Deadline to Apply: TBD | Program Runs: Sometime this Spring and/or Summer | Stipend: $0. A virtual bootcamp designed to empower undocumented students interested in the healthcare field. Participants will learn about entrepreneurship, and receive guidance and resources on identifying and launching their own business. Learn more here.
